Milky Glass Lamp

Hello everyone,
I am a complete newbie to Blender so excuse possible basic questions.
This is my first post in blenderartists so hi to everyone.

I am trying to get a light bulb modeled. It should have a sort of milky glass look to it.
I found this discussion here that seemed to be exactly what I needed:

I tried to replicate the material as indicated in the node setup.

While that seems to produce a very nice look to the lamp on the previous post, this is what I get when applying that node setup:

I am not sure what I am missing and I am probably doing some pretty basic mistake here.
I rendered it with cycles in case it makes a difference.
Any help appreciated.

The blend-mode is probably set to “Opaque.”
