Hi guys,
So, i put some order in my template and it starts to look good.
capturing screen always make it looks a bit laggy, but the game is really super smooth and CPU at 2%
To summarize my template, i would say that my command input (4 button on the keyboard, mouse moves and left click only) and their combinations are recorded and filtred with external facts (like distance to enemy, attack angle … ) to produce a multivariate index to go search in an "action strips library. The sensors are limited to the minimal and the pulse mode is avoided. The navigation system is based on the move of the mouse and the proximity of the target. I’m wanting to have the most enjoyable and smooth combat game-play possible running on very low PC config with an arcade-like experience
You really need to keyframe the fingers, other than that pretty cool.
bah, it’s really not important for the moment
I rather need someone who could explain me how to make her throw this gun away. For the moment, it’s just unparenting and restoreDynamics. I want the gun to fly a bit. How could i do that ?
Oh, trust me, those little things add up c:
I reckon applyImpulse might do what you want.
https://docs.blender.org/api/blender_python_api_2_77_0/bge.types.KX_GameObject.html?highlight=applyimpulse#bge.types.KX_GameObject.applyImpulse
the gun is parented to an empty. Was wondering if any function to copy the very last moments of trajectory of the empty so the gun could herit it . I will see. Thx for the link
The elevator works like hitting on an enemy or picking up a gun. It’s all about setting proprieties
The moving floor like in Airports. No animation, just recomputing the dLoc of the motion actuator by including to the local [x,y,z] a global [0,y,0] shift
Will add yr game as soon as yr 1st Teaser Drops Buddy but looking Good so far really love those animations.
(I just wanna post You Tube links not fully embedded web vids, so this gives u plenty of time to work and really polish yr game to make it nice but take yr tie buddy no pressure bro)
Keep up great work buddy… ![]()

Thx man ! It will be wonderfull if it could be at the end of this month. I promise this game will be arcade awesome
Here, the hack above put an end to the war between stairs and the BGE (on Character Physic mode). No more gliding. Very simple, dont have to manipulate stairs with invisible stuff anymore
i can already see the passion and commitment, your game has the potential to make it very far as a BGE game and even highly valued. 1 secret i can tell ya buddy is Neatness is the best!
Simplicity is the greatest sophistication, if yr game is well made and properly taken care of it’ll be treated the same.
otherwise keep up the great work ive always wanted to play an adventure fighting game on the BGE so yeah i’ll keep my hopes up that this may come out as one of the best BGE games:sunglasses:

For the moment, I have around 100 lines of python code only (mainly functions). 13 sensors. 4 controllers and 2 actuators (motion and action). All my game system could be summarized on half a white page
Im 100 percent agree with what you saying. If the basic game system is simple solid strong, everybody else can keep work on it and improve it while the artists create great games on it.
Well, i will see what it worths in 1 month
what about interactions with objects and NPC - quest\dialog system and inventory?
For the moment, the interactions are limited to some places of the map which trigger an event . Below, switching the light on. Also, i can grab an object and throw it in the direction of another one.
