Hello Blender Community! This post is to let as many people as possible know that some of us in the community are planning to try and start a Blender daily art challenge for the month of January—we’re calling it Blenduary. It will be less theme-restrictive and more creatively open than challenges like Nodevember. Much like Inktober there will be a prompt word for each day, open to the creative interpretations of each artist who wants to participate and create works of art inspired by the daily prompts. Not a contest by any means, the objective is to generate creative flow and just have fun seeing how different Blender artists interpret the same prompts. By the time January starts, another post may be created—or perhaps this one will be edited—with more helpful tips and information. For now this post is meant to raise interest and see what more users think. Suggestions/questions are welcome!

If you’re thinking of participating (whether you think you could join all of or even some of the days) by all means please feel free to save and share the prompt list (or a link to this topic) across social media to spread the word—this challenge is not only for the Blender Artists forum. Artists may participate on any platform(s) they choose and may use #blenduary or #blenduary2025 to connect with other participants.
