what i mean by this, is an option to just render the image as though you were taking a screenshot. this would be useful when i want a quick rendering of a model, but not necessarily a pretty picture with lights and shadows.
when you model in 3d like in autocad, you don’t have to add lights, but you get a lit scene.
any way to do this? if not it would be cool to see it in an upcoming version.
In the 3d “window” there is a button with a picture in it (the rightmost button).
This button is what you are looking for.
I remember in C4D, when you had no lights, a light was set where the camera is. So you could parent a lamp to your camera and save it to your user defaults. It should not cast a shadow, otherwise you get ugly drop shadows.
Just don’t foreget to remove it when you add the real lights
