Official fSpy importer

Hello!

The issue seems to be that when I download the blender addon, I can’t find it. It seems to install correctly (there’s a little message that states it installed) but it then does not appear in the list of addons (tried all sorts of searching, then manually going through the whole list). I had a look in my Blender addons folder (C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation etc.) and it doesn’t seem to be there despite apparently installing correctly.

I’m running Blender 3.1.

If I remember right you need to shut down Blender then re-open and activate the Plugin…

Unfortunately, no luck on restart. It’s a weird issue, it hasn’t affected any other addons recently that I can think of.

Ups silly me … instead of directly answering another post i should have looked in the forum…

  • of course this awesome addon does have a thread here… and
  • to import the files from the fSpy app… you have to…
  • download the release of the fSpy-Blender (import) addon… and
  • it does work with Blender 3.2.1

Just made a video on linux… but this should be not sooo different on windows (or mac) ??? Maybe pushd the refresh button? (I’m eager to hear what’s different on non-Linux)

(@stuffmatic feel free to use this video also on Github…)
