One of the reasons I picked the panther is because I have a pretty good stack of books that include interior drawings and photos. There are also several web sites showing panther restoration projects.
You’re right about the boolean modifier. I also added an edge split modifier to make sure the cut edges were sharp. Using the boolean let me cut apart the tank from any angle.
