I was also frustrated but got most with other tools.
There are x-ray selections tools X-Ray Selection Tools as extension on blender.org. And for selection tools (even paid ones) are out there like sand on the beach.
Search on github, there are a ton and then gumroad and blendermarket.
I guess you’ll only spend $20 most to replace: stupid power-select with the worst support ever. All those power tools are not what they supposed to be according to the discription …
Also he isn’t reachable anymore and wasn’t really, so take the latest you have, run it through an AI and when it’s fixed, sell it on blendermarket to get your money back for discontinuing without any notice or support.
I guess it’s open source anyways,… if I’m not wrong!?
