Hi there,
I want to present my most recent procedural shader for Blender. A realistic knitting shader that can be driven by usual image textures and makes excessive use of micro-displacement.
Here it is simply slapped onto a basic cloth-sim:

Man your setup is like a maze!!! Holy cow does this look complicated. Im not into cycles but was curious for the knitting tex. Finding the main took me a while.
Outcome looks stunning.
One thing i still not sure how you did is the small fray hairs. Is that some sort masked displacement orso?
