PZL P.1 - polish fighter plane from 1929

I love your attention to detail!

Man you’re puttin in details that you wont even see in the final render(s), you continue to impress me.

Modelling phase is over! Al this small “dinks” (in polish it is mean SMALL THING NOONE KNOW FOR WHAT :eyebrowlift:) are on their places, all shapes was corrected and if needed rebuilded.

Now I can start with second phase of texturing: weathering and spec maps. In PovRay it is a little tricky: I need twolayered material with different shaders for both layers ad the same diffuse and bump maps. Level of mixing are controled by spec map in grayscale. Of course in this way you can control not only reflections or specular but every parameter of shaders.

I decided to lower level of reflections. It was looking cool on previous renders, but was not real. Now it is more realistic, I hope and surfaces looks matte rather then glossy.

Hi,

this is obviously a labour of love - absolutely stunning! I really think you’d deserve a header here soon. Somehow I’ve seen enough of this frog… :eyebrowlift:

The instrument panel ( of the original plane) really doesn’t offer more than the bare necessities - but then again, in an open cockpit you could just take a look around if you want to know where you are!

Regards

Keep it up. :]
