Radial lines in wave texture?

I used wave texture to make a spherical concentric circle pattern. now i want to add a straight radial pattern, but i have no idea how.

thoughts?

the two will merge to make a mask. dark and light parts will have different textures

Cylindrical wave texture

I’m trying to get a beach ball like texture. I made a Cylindrical coordinate system and plugged it into the wave texture, but there’s a seam where φ=360° meets φ=0°. [Screenshot 2022-11-28 at 12.35.03] I’ve also made that: [Screenshot 2022-11-28 at 12.19.22] but when I increase the distortion (the mixRGB) the centre moves to the -x -y direction and it doesn’t distort evenly: How can I fixe that?
