Great work there… at last I’ve found the one who made the Timalapses on Vimeo

Manollo, thanks  I’ve seen your videos too.

Maqs, you’re work is amazing, and always been an inspiration for me. Your kind words make me happy. Thanks for the link too.

Jeepster, I’ve already told you, but, thanks for the heads up, it was really nice to see my work there…even though the vid was more about the screencast feature and there wasn’t much sculpting in there.

And now, something new…still a lot left to do…

Your models reminds of the videoclips of tool.
Which are awesome
Very inspiring.

Dilopho DD, thanks  hehe, I guess I watched them all way too many times…

I’ve switched to jwilkins soc branch. I was going crazy yesterday with trunk’s clay brush, but it works great in this branch.

Can I get some critique on the anatomy of the guy, please?

Hands are too big on purpose, and there’s not enough polys in both hands and feet to really get enough detail yet. Everything else looking odd’s probably a mistake.

lookin good!
the overall proportions do look a bit strange (not in a bad way)

from the front view the ankles look too wide and the arms look pretty thin, but that could just be a matter of style

if you’re lookin for anatomy help, check out this page! this guy really knows his stuff

Thanks Jeepster, that’s really helpful, that guy has amazing skills.
Also, you’re right about the ankles, and the arms are skinny on purpose as well…I had this in mind when I started, and althought I didn’t followed the reference close enough, the result is somewhat what I wanted.

Anyway, I’m getting tired of this one, about to call it finished.

moving on…doing the same old thing…

That last one looks great! Especially the eyebrows.

Thanks ben, and thanks also for your tutorial on the three layer sss shader, a lot of good info in there.

woah that’s a great sculpt!

would you mind explaining how you did the hair? it looks really nice

Thanks Jeepster!

Nothing fancy about the hair, just blocked-in the bigger shapes with clay brush, then detailed it with draw brush set to a very small size.

I’ve just posted this on the finished projects forum, I hope no one cares it looks that unfinished…but since everything I do looks like that, I feel like posting there from time to time, when I think I’ve reached a new step in my path.

here’s the link:huh? (head sculpture)

Thanks, Ben, that’s the first female head I sculpt that I’m not ashamed of showing

Alekzsander, you’re right, the lips got weird when I started grabbing things around when the sculpt was done already, same with the nose…and the ears…well…some day I’ll get them right! Thanks.

Jeepster  you’re funny! Thank you.

New doodle, only 327k faces
