I’ve been taking a lot of pictures of cloudy skies to use for backgrounds. If anyone wants to use them, be my guest.

ooh… that’s a neat idea, useful to the community. 
is there a way we could have a thread/section of BA/whathaveyou for others to contribute these type of free assets to the BA community at large?

I think the closest thing to what you’re describing is Tutorials, Tips and Tricks , which could perhaps be less confusingly named to “Community Resources” to better explain what that section is. I’m about to leave my computer and go be productive for a while, but you’re welcome to make a thread suggesting that change in Blender Artists Website Support I don’t know if Bart would be down for it, but I know for sure he’d be interested in the discussion
