Suite#02

Return with another work in Mediterranean Style of a Suite for a Resort.

It was a chore between continuous changes, modifications and displacements, and the time to devote to the improvement of the scene is always too little.

Blender 2.81 + Cycles.
4k to 2500 samples, an average of 30min per image with Amd2950x + 2Rtx2080
Post Production with Affinity Photo

C&C are welcome

Hi @EM_3D
One month for the project, a few days to make it all.
Now I’m out of the office, as soon as I’m back I send you some screenshots.

The lighting is a Sun and sample Blackbody Node at 6500k for the Background, value 7 and some area light to concentrate light on some parts of the room, or like in the bathroom to let in more light.

Very nice overall, and the colors’ selections and variations are very elegant and smooth.

One question. The cloth simulations (bed sheets etc) are all done in Blender?

Hi @birdnamnam , thanks for your feedback!
The bed is a model purchased and then modified. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to do everything. Almost all the elements I modeled myself apart from the sofa and the bed.

Yeah, I understand, very nice shading on those 3rd party models. They seem like typical Marvelous Designer beds, so that’s why I asked about it. It makes perfect sense now.

Congrats for these very nice renders. Elegant and smooth, as I said before. Keep it up!

For me it is very important to have well modeled models.
When I have the time model everything, I love doing it.
Sometimes it is better to invest.

Tnx again for yuor words!!

Its ok, but wondering why people so excited. Too much source lights with shadows, quite big time rendering and lack of sharpness… For me it is in the middle.

Tnx for your feedback.
Much appreciated. Surely it will help me to grow and improve, on the other hand this is the goal, always improving.
Some advice would also be appreciated on what would be redone and what is wrong, just to understand where to start.
