This is exceptionally nice work – both in terms of modeling and photography. This object and its setting are totally believable, and the composition, use of depth-of-field and so forth, are entirely consistent with what a professional photographer would likely choose to do. I frankly don’t see that happening very often in CG work, but I unquestionably see it here. Very well done.

I’m glad about your reply. I tried to make a natural scene, and I think it worked. Thank you !

Wait…how…how did you upload a rotatable 3D Model that renders with Eevee quality right in my browser ?
Are you also using that whatever that renderer is for your final image ?

Bro amazing job! Reminds me of a render I did a while back

Oh, That is Sketchfab(https://sketchfab.com/). You can upload 3D models on website.
Blender Artist web will automatically show just like that when you put any URL of uploaded 3D model during writing article.

But…it is not cycles right ?
How do you make it match your cycles render ?
Or the final image was never a cycles render ?

All images I uploaded was rendered by Cycles. I composited several images like scratch, dust, color through Cycles materials in Blender and rendered. Then I baked the images to each map(albedo, roughness, metalic and normal map) to upload on Sketchfab. Baking image also can do with Cycles.
This process is same as making video game props. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you heydotory, I make games too so I know about baking.
I guess I was “amazed” by the assumption that this is some real time game engine in browser eevee type rendering thingy.

Thank you !
And amazing work !

I think Sketchfab is web browser EEVEE. I was amazed just like you when I found it.
I’m glad to help you. Thank you.

@mcurt09 Oh, This is my first time to use vignette. Maybe I should use less vignette next. Thanks.
@rombout Umm… I don’t know what do you mean exactly.

Great work @heydotory!

@rombout : That type of pencil is called Mechanical-Pencil.

Thank you for the answer instead of me!

Yeah does make sense, I was thinking about it in the wrong way. Non English speaker.

After seeing the small image the light went on

This reminds me of my own pencil and sketchbook a lot! Nice work!
