Thought I would share something I am making for Poly Havens Contest: The Shed
I thought I’d make a hanging apron but after a few experiments with cloth simulation I thought I’d put that aside and focus on learning more of the cloth mechanics in blender on something a little simpler.
Here is where I am at now:
Still got a bit to go working on the decals but I have spent some time making it seem like there is dirt pressing against the sides of the bag on the inside. Having an SSS mask in the shader in the end should go a long way with helping that illusion as well.
I started by creating a inner mesh that can deform to cause some weighty kind of stretches in the cloth material.

Not sure if I will end up trying to make that apron but I am fairly happy with the results I got from the cloth sim even if the simulation itself was quite basic.
