I started a small project to create a new theme for Blender. One thing I noticed is that the interface is not easy to understand. It took me some time to learn how to change the parameters and the corresponding graphical components. I would like to suggest a change to the Theme configuration interface in Preferences: would it be possible to include an example of each UI element alongside the parameters that control it, so that when parameters are changed we can immediately see their effect?
I want to give some feedback about the “Quick Editor Addon.” It’s promising, but it still needs more development. It imports the current theme parameters, but it only configures a few general UI parameters, and for the rest, it applies default values. Basically, the tool overwrites many of my custom configurations.
Luckily, I had a backup of my theme in development, so I only needed to make a few small adjustments.
My advice: use it for general adjustments, but you’ll need to make several additional tweaks manually afterward.
