Here presenting my Task Manager Addon.

This Add-on simplifies the your daily planing and tasks to complete.

Activation:
Install it from preferences > add-ons > install.
Activate it.
Then in 3D view top menu there you can see the addon
In settings you need you can enable it in side panel in 3D view or the the Header

Planning for Upcoming Releases:
Adding Shortcut
Hiding Completed list by user preference
Seperate completed tasks
Floating panel

Hi, just got your addon and I think it’s very useful but… is there a way to remove the “my tasks” button from the viewport area? thanks

Happy to hear its helpful. As of now there is no way but in the coming update surely i will fix it.
if possible add a screenshot here or raise as a feature request in github

what I’d like to remove is the button on the left (red arrow) and keep the one in the header on the right (green arrow)…

…because: 1) the one on the right is always visible, even when you change workspace, the other one no; 2) keeping the one on the left can create, in my opinion, an overfull menu area for some workspaces

Your suggestion is done.Within few days will be releasing the 3rd version. Need some more time to add some other suggestions.

I hope you don’t mind if I give you another suggestion :grinning:

I think there is a bit of inconsistency with the name of the addon: the zip file and the addon folder are named “Todo… etc” but if I search for it I can’t find it

have you ever seen this addon?

it adds extra saving functions; one of these is a button that changes color: red >> unsaved changes, green >> saved changes

my suggestion is to give a color to this icon of your addon; for instance: white >> no tasks, red >> tasks to be done, green >> tasks done

moreover, an option to set the width of the panel and popover would also be useful.

thanks for the suggestion i will try with the icons not sure i will suceed but in next or further update i will add a preference to set the popover width :innocent:

Hi, is it working with 2.83 LTS?

It should work with LTS but I will check and confirm as soon as possible.

Edit: i have tried with 2.83.12 the addon is working with it.

Just one question: have you removed the option to disable it in the “N” panel?

Happy to hear it’s working perfectly. Yes I have removed the option, it’s because any one of the option should be permanently available. So I decided to keep the n panel as permanent :grinning:

Your feature requests are ready. Some works are remaining will upload the version 4 in a week. You have said you have another idea remaining for the addon. If you can brief it I can add it in next version.
