In blender you can’t perform something outside that editor.thats reason behind you can’t put all things in the topbar. For example search function.

Alright folks. I’ve just hidden a whole slew of posts that aren’t at all related to settings for the top bar. If you want to continue bickering and discussing each other’s posting style, please do so in a different topic or via PM. This is not the place.

does any body know how to get that menu back up to the top in 2.8?
The toggle is in view menu > hit tool settings
