Howe’s kinetic art caught my eye last year, but didn’t think to try to recreate in Blender till recently.
I got re-inspired after seeing this thread about Array Tools.
Did you use the Array Modifier?
That would look really cool if you duplicated the array X10, like jellies, “swimming” through water or the air.
