Updated Fairlady 2000

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my PC. I basically upgraded everything but the Graphics card (due to cost, this will happen later). And decided to see if I could push more in Blender now.

Turns out, I can!
I previously posted a render of my Datsun fairlady 2000 Widebody project. Which was rendered on a render farm because my own PC couldn’t handle rendering it.

My new setup however, is able to process this, and even render it much faster than expected.

So I updated the model, adjusted lots of materials, changed lighting environment and added an interior to the car (not very visible still).

Tips are very welcome!

Awesome. I was hoping to see interior shots.

Honestly the interior is not that interesting
It’s a very simple dashboard based off a single picture, and modeled down to be… Well… More race inspired. Next to that I created some seats and a rollcage to basically just make sure the car is not empty from different angles.

Here I adjusted the roll cage to be more visible. In the other renders it’s actually made of Carbon Fiber as well, so it wouldn’t stand out so much.

Also the “black” part on the dashboard is Carbon Fiber.
