Hello all scientific visualization and modelling people,

I created a small add-on for Blender 2.8, which allows import and export of VTK (Visualization ToolKit) surface meshes to/from Blender in VTK legacy ASCII file format. The add-on is available at https://github.com/tkeskita/io_mesh_vtk. Enjoy!
