yeah, I generally suck with materials:sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

yeah i suck on that too
all my materials are like fake !!!

turns out it should be made of aluminum, can anyone direct me to a place where I can learn how to make the materials I want?

I think the propeller is made of wood https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=repqy81Gs84 just use a different wood texture and change the mop map. For the metal maybe watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUl3GvT92T8 and for the chrome https://www.blenderguru.com/tutorials/making-realistic-pbr-materials-part-2-metal then for the rubber

try something like that. I hope this helps, you have a lot of blender guru to watch

@Witold_Jaworski is the man you need to reference if you want planes that look real:

Damn, this thread looks too overwhelming

The level of detail is mindblowing, but there are a lot of gems to pick out.

This model looks a artists interpretation of the Gloster Gladiator which is a 1930’s design.

Its miles off being accurate but great first effort at modelling an aircraft.

wow, yes it does, I just picked a google image and tried to remake it, I didn’t aim for accuracy or proportion at all . anyway I’ll give it another shot and try to make it as accurate as I can, now that I know the model, I’ll do some research and try my luck.

I think it would be nice to own one of these planes, just to cruize around in.

yeah, I just love how they look
