I thought that the sword should be rusty since most gladiators were basically slaves and fought with whatever they were given. Since no Roman would want to waste “good steel” on “filthy scum” such as gladiators, only the rusty and old equipment was given to them. This is by no means historically accurate it’s just my reasoning for the image 
I used a Colosseum model from BlendSwap for the background, but I guess since it’s a blurred background it counts as pure?
I wanted to also model a helmet to include in the composition but I already used up all my Saturday for this and I also have to study for uni so I guess I will leave it as is:) there is some noticeable noise but I didn’t want to increase sampling further because it would take forever to render, and I am not familiar with denoisers yet
