After 2 days of voting, a winner is declared: The voting will close on: Wed, Apr 10, 2019 11:00 PM.
The winner picks the theme for next week.

If the winner doesn’t supply a theme before Thursday 22:30 GMT, the organizer will select the theme. In this case, the winner’s theme will be used the next time we are lacking a theme on Thursday 22:30 GMT.

Having selected the theme, the winner will not be eligible to enter that week. They may however still submit an image, but it won’t be included in the voting.

Poor little crotons are fighting for their very lives. Lettuce pray for them

It was a difficult weekend theme for sure but ya’ll pulled off some nice work.

It took me a moment to get that one  Very nice!

If there are a few of them left after the next weekend, we’ll know that the praying worked. Do artificial croutons have procedural souls? (I guess, I should probably take a look into the forum rules regarding religious discussions. ;-))

Love that salade of yours, Helge! Got my vote. Also a vote for TomTalented, very skilled artwork there!

Thanks, I voted for yours as well! I think you nailed the composition on that one!

A bit late to the party. Kinda screwed up my time management this weekend and couldn’t finish my entry on time. But better late than never.

My idea was to have a deformed humanoid begging for mercy to higher beings, represented by the high pillars. I was going to add chains and stuff like that, but I don’t want to delay this yet another day.

I’m glad you posted it anyways! I really like the lighting. Did you use volumetrics or is it just a diffuse light?

It would have been really funny if my entry was directly above yours.

It is volumetrics, altough I’m a bit sad that the shadows are not very visible. I think it is because I forgot to tune the light falloff.

That works so well with the position of the eyes on the croutons! :joy:

This one works too

That time when they tried to kill Caesar with poisoned croutons. Thankfully, they warned him
