@TheFull9Yards: Did you say that you used the “front grille/body portion” was from some previous project which was not re-done? If yes, then I’m sorry it might not be eligible for the competition because the rules say it “Your image must be a new creation, not an existing project”. You cant reuse models or perhaps, even redo them. Btw, the render’s nice. :eyebrowlift2:

I’m doing an old-style kitchen (before stoves) with a wood interior. Mainly I’m going for the type of kitchen I would like to have been in in that time. Very much like the music room of a few months back, so there is no proper reference that I could find for the image I wanted to do, so it’s just a matter of starting and hoping it’s convincing as a photo. Haha. The closest that I know exists is from the last A Christmas Carol movie, but I avoid copyrighted reference like the plague. Hahaha.
I’m using Blender Render for it.

I’m making (actually, I’ve already made it:evilgrin:) a few watches and a perfume bottle on a desk on a nice sunny morning. Only the bottle, texturing, and most importantly, rendering is left. I might post a few clay renders [If i feel like doing so, I’m lethargic!! ;)]

a bridge. rendered in cycles 1000 passes. 3 pixels stayed white, so since I don’t have GIMP or photoshop, I used MS Paint to color those last three pixes the right color. the rest is all done in blender including compositing.

Can’t wait to see it! Those items usually have more detail than people bargain for (^^,).

Not bad! I only suggest to change the texture mapping for the cloth and the barrel, it seems like it’s painted on the image.
