Hi @pitiwazou in our Timeline we dont have intel processors 8th generation yet, still 6th. Remind yourself 2016 = i7 69xx
And now seriously. When You release this addon with this feature (curve, meatball, etc) ? Any chance for beta ?
Greetings
Hey Wazou, love all the sculpt jams you’ve been having lately. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the Orc Timelapse you made.
Even more impressive, as ever, is your scripting sorcery!
All the stuff you’ve been doing to help out while sculpting. But especially SpeedFlow - WOW!
I’ve been busy as of late and a bit more quite here at BA, but have been following your work with all these addons. Although I haven’t tried any of this stuff yet, I did get them upon release and am waiting for the opportunity to give it a go
I’ve said it before, BI/BF should hire you as a Workflow/UX consultant/designer/developer. You’re doing some of the most inspiring work for Blender! Keep it up.
Totally agree with Orange- thanks for sharing. Inspiring to see how a seasoned artist with a technical understanding can really tie the loose ends in a program together and make it sing!
That said, a Dynamesh function in Blender would also be great. Closest thing I’ve seen is Remesh + Shrink Wrap, but doesn’t always turn out that great.
Ah right. What is interesting me though is how polished the joints are, and I could kind of see this working quite well with that technique. Reading that thread I saw someone suggest Remesh + Corrective smooth which works quite well. I think what I am looking for is to polish the mesh after remeshing, anyhow the hardsurface application for this looks promising. I’ll be keeping an eye out.
Yes it is possible, but dyntopo adds tris and this gives bads results.
Maybe with instant remesh ça could be better, make your object with booleans, carver or else, then use instant remesh to a high density to have a mesh like dynamesh and then sculpt.
This triangle filling script looks interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Hey pitiwazou, you know what would be super cool to have for sculpting? A script to remove all of your models self intersecting spaces. Do you think it would be possible to do this using python and maybe booleans?
