I agree with some others here, the chair looks a little over contrasted and shiny on the cushion. Otherwise this is superbly well done, and thanks for taking the time to describe how you did the curtains.

i like the use of lights to make objects seem real. maybe some reflected light on the lamp shade? like the right arm of the chair.

Pretty good even for 2012 Blender
Pretty good, but I find the result a bit too crisp… It’s realistic, but maybe the chair pops out too much?
Perhaps some dazzle lighting would have reduce some contrast.
Makes me want to have a reading corner like that too.
Could you provide details of the lighting setup? Very cozy feeling.
