Can you help me with this? i’m using a rock generator and applied the modifiers that contains sub d, when i unwrapped the object, the faces that supposed to be connected are placed in a wrong place inside uv, there is no overlapping vertices etc, im really confused
Guessing you used Smart UV Project to “unwrap” it?
That’s only useful when doing “lazy” baking.
Instead do a manual unwrap or cube projection (with a box texture).

even if i used the regular unwrap, the result just stay the same, & what do you mean by manual unwrap by the way, cause i’m a beginner to this
it could be useful if you provide your blend file in order to get fast to a solution.
Have you played around with the Subdiv-Settings? Theres also an option to change the UV behaviour
What do you mean? Please explain your process… Do you see overlap in the UV editor?
