I really do like being that guy that just aimlessly flaneurs (aka strolls, walks, etc) around with no real purpose than to just watch the scenery. Though as usual nowadays I’m a bit tired of the city, people, cars, stress and everything, so flying away from it on a dandelion seed all would be so nice.
The dandelion is of course created using mostly geometry nodes, but also a bit of manual modelling for the seed. The flaneur himself is some basic modelling and rigging with the hair being done with the brand new hair system in 3.3 alpha. Nothing fancy at all, but I do like the system when it’s coupled with geo nodes. So much more powah than with the old hair particle system!
Rendered at 8K at 2048 samples in around 2h. Really like those juicy details with the possibility to print it laaarge if I’d wanted to. Only downside with rendering at those resolutions is that my photoshop files gets up to 11gb, yikes :F

This extraordinary work is truly a masterpiece, in concept, design and execution. And I would absolutely put this up there with my other two favorite Blender pieces which are Road Trip and The Rabbit and the Forest Troll!
